5 SENSES OF SUMMER EVENT
As part of the 5 Senses of Summer campaign, we are hosting this year's summer event by the sea. There are 5 different stations where our guests can experience the senses. Like a perfume workshop or at the lemon pasta stand. The decoration is based on our campaign colors blue, white, yellow and lets everyone dive into the summer with all senses.


SUMMER ESCAPE
Escape to summer - escapism is a big and increasingly present social theme. Thus, we escape together into our summer dreams and look forward to the sun's rays, cool drinks and the smell of sunscreen. Hey Marly's mission has always been to make summer tangible for everyone. Exactly 5 years after founding, we would like to use the occasion of our 5th birthday to emotionally charge the 5 senses of summer. We taste the delicious pasta, smell the salt water, listen to the sound of the sea and feel the sand under our feet and end the perfect summer day by watching the sunset. The 5 sounds familiar? That's right, the 5 elements in our first campaign & we can tell you that much already: We will be integrating and celebrating the number 5 very often this year on the occasion of our birthday.


NEW SANDALS MODELS
We have launched new sandal models for the start of the new season and they are revolutionary! Because finally there is the perfect alternative for our thong sandal!
Similar to the mix & match system of our beloved basic sandals and the associated toppings, there is now the patch sandal with associated patches. The Casual Clean patch sandals have no toe bar and are absolutely comfortable. Furthermore, there are new models with varying heel heights to be perfectly prepared for any occasion.


SUMMER ESCAPE POP ROADSHOW
To bring the campaign "5 Senses Of Summer" closer to the community, we had a POP UP ROADSHOW in the cities of Hamburg, Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf. Everyone had the opportunity to feel the vibes of Hey Marly, to see the products, to taste delicious drinks, to listen to good music and to smell and enjoy the summer to the fullest. With different promotions, you could win goodies, store and discover Hey Marly. With this roadshow, we wanted to get to know our community and escape the stressful everyday life and dive into the summer.


JESSICA HALLER EVENT
For the new Ibiza Collection 2.0 with Jessica Haller, we are hosting a launch event in Ibiza in May. All characterized by soft beige tones, satin, shells, sand and glitter. The Golden Hour is the most important moment of the day to best convey the mood of the entire campaign. In the context of a picnic and live music, we celebrate together.


JESSICA HALLER IBIZA COLLECTION 2.0
The second HEY MARLY X JESSICA HALLER COLLECTION is launched. The new summer products like the tote bags, the toppings and patches are shown in a summery Ibiza look and bring the summer feelings already in spring to our home.


ENERGY COMMUNITY EVENT
This year's community event will take place in March at Rheinauhafen. The customers could purchase their ticket by means of a goodie bag. For our 5 elements there are different workshops for our community, which are based on the respective elements. For example, they can plant pots, participate in breathing exercises or listen to lectures on the topic of female empowerment. At the end of the event, a very exclusive code will be unlocked with the energy points collected during the day.


HEY, THIS IS ME: NEW ENERGY
As the new year begins, it's a lot about being yourself and reflecting - What do I stand for? What gives me energy? In the new campaign we combine the classic elements: Air, Earth, Water, Fire with our fifth element "Energy".
It is about the individual composition of all elements/products, which is enforced by each of its statements. All products can be combined in such a way that they become a very individual Energy-Piere.


BLIZZ AND BLACKWEEK PARTY
Blackweek 2022 is coming up. The event is themed "Glitter & Icy". The party will take place in Düsseldorf at the "Oh Baby Anna" club. One of the big highlights: Our special guest DJ David Puentez. There will also be first glimpses of the upcoming Spring/Summer collection, icy drinks, midnight snacks, photo spots and much more.


BREAK THE ICE OOH
Our second out-of-home campaign is being played out in cities across Germany. This time the HYGH displays are "freezing" to match our Break the Ice theme. Alongside, a community competition is running for all those who discover our displays in their city.

Let's connect, let's create and stand out
Cool shapes - changeable styles - pure products
In November we want to break the ice - We orientate ourselves on the proverb, which stands for overcoming barriers, connecting & exchanging. The transparent exchange with the community is our top priority. The focus of the campaign is the new Puffer collection with our new Nylon Bags.
The bags and accessories are a cool eye-catcher in the cold season and also keep us nice and warm.


MARLY'S TIMES
On the occasion of our Time Twist Fall campaign, we created an exclusive Hey Marly newspaper that tells the background of the Fall and Winter products 22/23. The newspaper is sent digitally in the form of a newsletter to all customers, but also physically distributed in the store. One of the articles is about Creation Week, which allowed customers to vote online on the latest products and to have their personal opinion included in the creative process.


TIME TWIST
With the "Time Twist" campaign, Hey Marly travels back in time and thus back to classics. Because it is important to us to create timeless products that don't just go with the trend. We want to offer bags, shoes and accessories that every personality can style in their own way and that will be all day favorites for a long time because of their look and quality. So the new products are set to become real Hey Marly classics. In keeping with the campaign, Marly's Times was published. a newspaper that accompanied the collection from Creation Week to the launch.

MADLWIESN
A part of the Hey Marly team put on their Dirndl and went to Munich to this year's Madlwiesn. There they not only celebrated to the Wiesn music, but also stood out with a beautiful Hey Marly booth. Under the campaign name "Time Twist" the products from the new collection could be admired there. The Sassy Sister and the Classy Aesthetics with the patches are perfect accessories that even match a Dirndl super well and are real eye-catchers. Due to the different Straps on the Soul Sister and the patches on the new Chelsea Boots from Hey Marly, they match any Dirndl style. Thanks to the comfortable Sporty Sneakers we could dance for hours. We had a lot of fun at the Oktoberfest and look forward to next year.


FESTIVAL SEASON
Our first, colorful festival season was upon us! At our booth at the Panama Festival in Bonn there were cool photo spots, goodies and mega prizes in the raffle! With the hot temperatures and the blazing sun, the Light Scarf was the favorite piece of the festival guests. Also at the San Hejmo Festival in Weeze there was a real highlight, because on the special Hey Marly Pier you could spin the wheel of fortune and take part in the basketball game. This was a lot of fun for many festival visitors and for us. A real eye-catcher was the Marlymat, which accompanied us at all festivals. You might already know him from the Rheincenter in Cologne. The Marlymat is a stylish vending machine from which you can easily get sandals and Toppings .


COLOR IT UP 8.7
On 8.7 Hey Marly celebrated with a motley crew of Influencer*innen the Color it up theme on the houseboat. The location, houseboat no 1, which is kept all in white, was like a canvas of our guests, the colorful accessories of Hey Marly and the colorful decoration in color dipped. In the context of a dinner with subsequent party could be lively exchanged about the new summer products.

With the Color it Up campaign, Hey Marly not only wanted to present the new summer products, but also to say THANK YOU to the community. Because without the support of our customers, Hey Marly would not be the same! In addition, Hey Marly has been online for 1000 days! To mark the occasion, a community event was held in Cologne to coincide with the campaign! Customers could buy a filled bag and get a ticket to the event. This event was super important for Hey Marly, because we want to be close to our community, get to know them and exchange ideas directly with them. It was about eating, drinking and celebrating together. There were small workshops and live music for the perfect summer vibes and the launch of the new campaign!

COLOR IT UP START & THE FIRST TIME OOH ADVERTISING
Bright colors and new products! Summer at Hey Marly is colorful! In keeping with this motto and the launch of the new summer products, Hey Marly has launched the first Out Of Home campaign in 2022 with the theme COLOR IT UP. The message behind it is: Bring Color to the Streets. The campaign video was played on HYGH displays in various parts of Cologne, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. The Hey Marly team was on tour and visited the cities and announced a cool community action. Here it was important for us to spread some color and love. Be Bold! Be Wild! Be Colorful! COLOR IT UP!

"Love is the only thing that doubles when you share it."
February is all about love and that's why Hey Marly has come up with something very special: Our HEY LOVE CLUB shopping bag. It is limited to 1000 pieces, is guaranteed to stand out from all other shopping bags and is an absolute eye-catcher thanks to the colour combination and the lettering. With every purchase of the HEY LOVE CLUB Bag, 5€ will automatically be donated to the charity organisation. We already donated to Oxfam last year as part of our Better together campaign and would like to continue this collaboration with the community this year. Hey Marly will also double the proceeds at the end of the campaign!


DONATION TO DKMS
To conclude the year, we would like to thank DKMS with a donation. The international non-profit organisation is committed to fighting blood cancer. Only together can we make a difference! BLACKWEEK 13.11.
On the occasion of this year's Blackweek, we organised our very first small PRE-BLACKWEEK event as a brand. Of course, it was completely Corona-compliant under the 2G+PCR TEST regulation, so that everyone could enjoy the evening with a clear conscience. The BUZZ N BLACKNIGHT took place under the motto BLACKNIGHT & NEONLIGHTS at the SIXPACK Bar in Cologne. Some influencers were able to join us and celebrate the exclusive MARLYS MEMBER CLUB FLASH SALE. There was lots of dancing, laughing and drinking our neon pink Marly's signature drink.




TEAM TRIP GARMISCH
The HEY MARLY crew has grown so fast in the last year!
On the one hand, we can be happy about the growth of new products and our community, and on the other hand, about hard-working new employees! To get to know each other better as a team, HEY MARLY organised a little trip for the whole team! Where we were going was only revealed during the trip! The whole crew was excited and there were already plenty of rumours about where the trip might be going. Many already had a premonition and this was confirmed. The trip went to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria. From bike tours and mountain hikes to delicious food and a relaxing visit to the spa. In any case, there was plenty of singing, dancing and laughing together.
A trip full of memories and team bonding!




CITY LOVE - BRING LOVE TO THE STREETS
After the summer of "BEACH TO CITY", we have arrived thematically in the city, accompanied by our new autumn products.
The message of CITY LOVE is to spread love in all cities around the world with our Boots & Bags. With the launch of the campaign, HEY MARLY shows cool autumnal city styles for every type of woman instead of summery beach looks. Also launched were the Hiking and Ankle Boots, the Shopper, the Hey Beanie & the Signature Scarves. All accessories for an all-round perfect autumn outfit. In parallel to the campaign, our HEY FRIENDS page was also launched. The aim of the page is to share the HEY MARLY styles with our community. Because our FRIENDS also inspire us and make HEY MARLY the brand it is. We are proud of our community love and thank you for the great support!


MARLY'S SNEAKER PRODUCT TESTING & FIRST ONLINE EVENT
In September, there was a unique chance to become a product tester for the first HEY MARLY sneaker. 100 selected people were allowed to wear and test the first design. Afterwards, they were able to share their opinion on the quality, design and naming in the form of a feedback questionnaire. At an online event, the marketing team presented the design and the idea and answered questions from the community. Thank you to everyone who was there and helps us improve our products every day!

This summer, HEY MARLY launched MARLY'S MEMBERCLUB! With our club, we reward our community with points for every purchase, offering them more exclusivity and benefits. ARE YOU ALREADY MEMBER? JOIN MARLY'S CLUB NOW!




DONATION CAMPAIGN "AKTION DEUTSCHLAND HILFT."
Severe storms have devastated parts of Germany and left severe damage in their wake. We want to help! Many families, friends and acquaintances have been severely affected by this flood and we, as a company that was founded in the Rhineland, want to support where we can. Therefore, we as a company have donated to the project "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" to support those affected by the flash floods. This campaign is made up of 23 different German aid organisations. The aim is to combine forces and help more effectively, as well as in this case of disaster.


FROM BEACH TO CITY
The time has come! Summer is just around the corner and the summer feelings are in the air. Even if the German summer doesn't always cooperate, HEY MARLY brings you the summer feelings. No matter if you go on vacation or spend the time in your home country. Because when it comes to the question: beach or city, you no longer have to decide... Why not both? The new campaign "From Beach to City" offers a perfect combination of both. With this campaign, HEY MARLY wants you to feel that summer can be anywhere. HEY MARLY makes you feel the summer under your feet and in your heart. New summer products are launched to match the campaign. New Toppings, Straw Bags and scarves enrich now the HEY MARLY assortment.




BREUNINGER POP UP STORE
How fast time flies! First the store in Cologne and now a pop-up store in two more cities in Germany. In July 2021 HEY MARLY will open its first pop-up store at Breuninger Düsseldorf and Stuttgart. Wow, we are excited! What a chance to present HEY MARLY also in your cities. On an area of 30sqm we bring the beach into the city. Casual beach vibes accompanied by chill lounge music. From our sandals with changeable Toppings, over espadrilles to bags, you can see, feel and try on our HEY MARLY assortment live. Thanks to you a full success!




OXFAM & BFF DONATION
As part of the Better Together campaign, it is important to HEY MARLY not only to carry the message: WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER as a campaign to the outside world, but also to put the theme into practice and do something good. Because only together we are strong and can make a difference. Therefore HEY MARLY has donated a part of the turnover worth 15.000€ with the agreement of our campaign testimonials: Isabelle Hartmann, Milena Karl, Kelly Flint and Janina Pfau to Oxfam & BFF. BFF, the BUNDESVERBAND FRAUENBERATUNGSSTELLEN UND FRAUENNOTRUFE, offers outpatient counselling and assistance to women in emergency situations and victims of violence. They also want to bring the issue of violence against women to the outside world in order to create more awareness among the public. OXFAM supports further education projects for women worldwide, campaigns for women's rights & against violence. They also want to give women and girls better access to health care, education & income. These organisations, which support women in a wide variety of areas, are therefore a perfect match for the BETTER TOGETHER campaign. We are therefore looking forward to creating great things together!


IT'S WAY BETTER TOGETHER. YOU NEVER WALK ALONE.
A message very close to Hey Marly's heart. "Treat all the people around you like your best friends - make them feel safe, harmonious, joyful & loyal." As part of this campaign, HEY MARLY has teamed up with an influencer group of friends from Hamburg to visualise the feeling of friendship and togetherness. Because only together we are strong , can learn from each other and achieve great things. The four friends: Isabelle Hartmann, Kelly Flint, Milena Karl & Janina Pfau, stand for the above-mentioned friendship values in the "BETTER TOGETHER" campaign. Because HEY MARLY products should also accompany our customers wherever they go and not leave them alone.




NOSTALGIA: WE WILL FEEL AGAIN
What a year it was: the whole of Germany and the whole world is at a standstill because of the Corona situation. Germany is in lockdown. Normal everyday life is shut down. We are all longing for freedom, for holidays, for an exuberant life. We are waiting to feel the beautiful things in life again and to be able to celebrate together. Our campaign for the first quarter of the year is based on this feeling: BE PATIENT. WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER. WE WILL FEEL AGAIN. With this measurement message HEY MARLY wants to give people the feeling that we are in this together & will soon feel all the beautiful things in life again. The nostalgic campaign encourages people to reminisce and gather strength and motivation for the future. It reminds our customers of the beach, the sea, the sand under their feet and the sun's rays on their skin, which reflect the basic idea of the brand.




VARIUS WORKSHOP
Since the beginning of 2020, HEY MARLY has been working together with Varius Werkstätten. The Varius Werkstätten support people with disabilities and give them the opportunity to orient themselves professionally. They helped us with important production steps. The snap fasteners of our Toppings were riveted with the help of the employees. Hey Marly would like to thank for the strong commitment and the nice cooperation and therefore donated to the facility at Christmas time.




STORE OPENING & PRODUCT EXPANSIONS
Our first own store & the release of a whole new product category: our bags.
Wow! Hard to believe. Our own store in Ehrenstraße. It has always been a dream of Hey Marly to be present in stationary retail in addition to online retail, as we consistently try to be a very personal and approachable brand. The Hey Marly feeling can be experienced more closely and personally in the store. The breakthrough of our City Companion Bucket Bag and the Soul Sister Halfmoon Bag took place at the same time. It quickly became clear that Hey Marly is a brand that wants to offer its customers diversity. For women who prefer casual, sporty or simply slip-ons instead of sandals, the espadrilles are the perfect alternative for the summer.


TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Since August, the team behind Hey Marly has been growing. While Paula and Philip were previously responsible for the marketing tasks alone and their team consisted mainly of the customer service team, in August 2020 they expanded their team in the areas of marketing, operations, quality management and customer service. To date, the team continues to grow and work hand in hand on new projects to drive the brand forward. The vision of being the best friend of our community is also reflected in the team - supporting, helping, supporting and being there for each other is a top priority at Hey Marly and is constantly intensified through team evenings and events.




SANDALS & TOPPING CONCEPT
HEY MARLY starts with a unique sandal concept. Basic sandals can be combined with summery, individual Toppings . So a new look can be conjured up within seconds. Perfect for different styles and occasions. And especially practical for vacation. The comfortable basic sandals are available in different variations and colors. The Topping range is constantly expanding, so that more and more variations are possible. There are no limits to creativity!




FOUNDATION HEY MARLY
And it really began with a journey. A journey by the founders Paula & Philip.
The two then founded the label Hey Marly in 2018. Inspired by an encounter with a fascinating person. Dedicated to the world's most beautiful attitude to life: summer under the feet and in the heart. Hey Marly's vision is to be a woman's perfect companion and best friend. With the product portfolio of accessories, shoes and bags, which has grown considerably to date, Hey Marly is intended to complete every outfit and give it a very individual touch.
