HEY MARLY focuses on the responsible management of people and resources
A key cornerstone of our actions is an awareness of the social responsibility inherent in entrepreneurial activity.
We hold ourselves and our international business partners to the standard of ensuring that socially fair, socially responsible, and environmentally sound practices are upheld throughout the value chain of our products.
First, it is important to us that we visit the production facilities several times a year to gain firsthand impressions of working conditions; these impressions reinforce our selection of manufacturing partners as socially fair, responsible, and sustainably operating companies.
Second, we ensure that these companies undergo regular audits based on, for example, the Sedex Corporate Governance Standards, which include, among other things, the following initiatives
- Prohibition of Child Labor
- Payment of minimum wages
- Abolition of forced labor and disciplinary measures
- Occupational Health Care
- Working hours and overtime regulations in accordance with national laws
- Elimination of all of discrimination
- Inclusion of environmental and safety issues
- Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
- Social Responsibility Policy
- Management systems and anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies
