The First HEY MARLY Community Sneaker—Your Design, Your Choice!

2025 will be a very special year for HEY MARLY—we’ll be launching our first community-designed sneaker! A sneaker that our community designed together, from the first sketch to production in Porto.

In the fall of 2024, the time had finally come: Twelve participants* from our community had the unique opportunity to design the sneakers of their dreams with our designers*. The creative process began with a workshop at our HEY MARLY office in Cologne-Ehrenfeld—mood boards were created, color palettes were defined, and the first sketches of the future sneakers were put on paper.

The twelve members of the community will fly to Porto in early March to closely follow the production process of the sneaker they designed together.

In Porto, the process gets down to business: working alongside our design team and manufacturers, participants* will see how sketches and ideas are transformed into actual products—from the materials and colors to the perfect fit. The production process thus becomes an unforgettable experience, during which participants* can follow the creation of their sneakers from start to finish.

The highlight of the journey: You can help decide which of the three designs will be chosen for the final production run. Your votes via Instagram and our newsletter will determine which sneaker will be officially launched in the summer of 2025!
