The first HEY MARLY Community Sneaker Your design, your choice!
2025 will be a very special year for HEY MARLY—we’re launching our first Community Sneaker! A sneaker our community designed together, from the first sketch to production in Porto.
In the fall of 2024, the time had finally come: Twelve participants from our community had the unique opportunity to design the sneaker their dreams together with our designers. The creative process began in a workshop at our HEY MARLY office in Cologne-Ehrenfeld—mood boards were created, color palettes were defined, and the first sketches of the future sneaker put on paper.
The twelve community members will fly to Porto in early March to get an sneaker look at the production process of sneaker they helped develop.
In Porto, things are finally getting serious: Together with our design team and our producers, participants will see how sketches and ideas turn into real products—from the materials and colors to the perfect fit. The production process thus becomes an unforgettable experience, where participants can follow the creation of their sneaker start to finish.
The highlight of the trip: You can help decide which of the three designs will go into production. Your votes on Instagram and through our newsletter will determine which sneaker be officially launched in the summer of 2025!
